My aunt called me the other day inviting me to a Benefit Art Show organized by A.R.R.T. ONLUS (Association of Romagna for Cancer Research), she is a Radiologist and collaborates with the organization by doing breast cancer screening. As an art lover and considering the cause, I was happy to come out for the opening! 
The exhibion was organized in the centre of Cesena and it contained about 80 different operas from more or less established local artists, who each donated at least one piece to be auctioned for the cause. 
There is a great variety of art styles and media, ranging from the greatly loved comical Romano Buratti www.romanoburatti.it, to still life by Ugo Pasini www.ugopasini.it and Vittorio Berardi www.vittorioberardi.it, or tipografical works by Mario Bertozzi, or even abstracts by Anna Maria Nanni www.amnanni.it. The paintings vary in sizes and prices, that go anywhere from €90 - €1200, there is a piece for every taste and wallet. Consequently, everybody can take home a piece of contemporary art, make a good investment for their money and contribute to a great cause, as all the money earned in the auction will go to the Oncology Prevention Initiaves, which is great! There should be more similar initiatives, so we can all enjoy art, while making future investments and contributing to good causes!
L'atro giorno mi ha chiamato la mia zia, invitandomi alla mostra d'arte a scopo benefico organizzata da A.R.R.T. ONLUS (L'Associazione Romagnola Ricerca Tumori Onlus). Come l'amante d'arte e volendo scoprire di più sugli artisti locali non mi sono fatta pregare, per di più lo scopo della mostra era ricavare i fondi per i Progetti di Prevenzione Oncologica!
La mostra durerà dal Sabato, 22 Marzo fino Domenica, 30 Marzo, presso 'Endas Sala Severini' in Corso Mazzini 46 al centro di Cesena, vicinissimo a Duomo! L'entrata è gratuita e si possono ammirare attorno 80 opere di artisti locali, più o meno famosi. Ognuno di questi ha donato uno o più pezzi per l'asta e veramente ce ne sono per tutti i gusti: da amatissimo pittore comico Romano Buratti www.romanoburatti.it, alla natura morta di Ugo Pasini www.ugopasini.it e Vittorio Berardi www.vittorioberardi.it, da litografie di Mario Bertozzi, ai astratti di Anna Maria Nanni www.amnanni.it.
I prezzi variano da € 90 a € 1200, capendo i tempi difficili che scorrono, ma la gioia di portarsi a casa un'opera d'arte, investendo in futuro e contribuendo alla prevenzione del cancro, mi sembrano proprio dei gran buoni motivi! Io ho già scelto il mia opera da acquistare, ma per ora è un segreto!! ;)
