Olympics Opening Ceremony in Sochi: Worldly Winter Wonderland Celebration!!

The Sochi Olympic Games did not start without controversy!! Honestly, I am tired of reading of terror attacks, dog slatters or civil rights propaganda, the Olympics are about sports, friendship and peace!!
I Giochi Olimpici di Sochi non hanno avuto un inizio senza le controversie! Sinceramente, sono stanca di leggere tutta la propaganda negativa sul possibile terrorismo, eliminazione dei cani, violazione dei diritti civili o altri pretesti; gli Olimpiadi riguardano lo sport e sono il symbolo mondiale di amicizia e pace!

Russia has invested more than 50 billion dollars in re-building the city of Sochi and organizing this magnificent 16 days event, where some 3000 athletes from all over the world will compete for 98 medals! The opening ceremony was a beautiful, emotional and pride filling celebration

for every country participating in this world class, multi-cultural gathering!  
 La Russia ha investito più di 50 billioni di dollari per ricostruire Sochi ed organizzare questo stupendo evento di 16 giorni, che riunisce 3000 atleti mondiali in gara per 98 medaglie! L’apertura era bellissima, emozionante e fiera celebrazione per ogni paese partecipante in questo evento internazionale!

Of course, there were some interesting surprises, like a German team dressed in a gay pride flag!  I found it, a great way to express their solidarity in a peaceful and non propaganistic way.  The 5th circle of the Olympic sign, supposetly did not light up, but I found it beautiful and surreal with the sun, as a 5th circle, truly artistic and unique!!
 Certo c’erano anche alcune sorprese inaspettate, come l’uscita di atleti Tedeschi vestiti con tutti i colori della bandiera di Gay Pride. Ho pensato che sia stata una bella trovata per esprimere la loro solidarietà con la comunità gay, in modo simpatico, pacifico e senza negatività!  Un cerchio olimpico, che non si era acceso, ma personalmente, ho trovato il sole al posto di 5 cerchio bellissimo, era un simbolo sorreale e molto artistico!

So lets enjoy these beautiful images and celebrate the 2014 Olympics in love, forgetting all the unpleasant propaganda done by evil, jelouse people!!
